A rare opportunity to purchase a Linear Amp UK Challenger II amp in top condition.
What makes this one special is that it has the 8877 / 3CX1500A7 tube fitted – most used the GS35. The 8877 is a higher gain Triode and this amp will give a full 1.5kW out with 50-60W Drive. Better still, this amplifier is fitted with a genuine EIMAC tube.
It came into us in part exchange. It has been fully checked through in our workshops and has had a BRAND NEW set of outer covers fitted so they are completely unmarked.
