The IC-905 is a versatile all mode transceiver that covers 144-5600 MHz and includes a 10 GHz transverter option, providing access to VHF/UHF and SHF frequencies. Designed with ICOM’s technology, spirit of challenge, and playful mind, the IC-905 opens up new possibilities in the SHF band. It is the industry’s first VHF/UHF/SHF multi-bander with 144-5600 MHz/10 GHz coverage across all modes, although an optional CX-10G Transverter is required for 10 GHz.

The IC-905 has a separate configuration with the controller and RF module directly mounted under the antenna, allowing for ATV (Amateur TV) operation in analogue FM mode. Additionally, the LAN cable connection between the controller and the RF module significantly reduces power loss, while PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology enables more flexible installation of the RF module controller.
